  Minx finally gives women completely customized nails that can feature the exact pattern and colors of their newest gown, their favorite photo, or that season’s hottest designs. With Minx, Nail art, it is beautifully and tastefully done and, most importantly, affordable!!

    Minx is a solid film with an adhesive backing that is heat activated. The heat gives Minx the conformability to fit over the compound curve of a nail, and seals the film onto the nail bed. The patent pending proprietary material Minx is made of can be easily removed with heat by either the manicurist or the client.

Like a conventional manicure, your nails are buffed and shaped first. Then the film should be exposed to a lamp or other heat source. The film is smoothed over the nail and the excess is removed.

  How long does Minx last?
  It depends on several factors, the norm being 1-3 weeks. Minx does not chip, it may wear slightly at the free edge of the nails that are heavily used but will not wear any further.

  Clients that are rough on their nails ... or if you are a picker, get in the habit of rubbing Minx into the nail vs. rubbing away from the nail which will make it lift.

  Please Note: To preserve your nails, we would always recommend wearing gloves when gardening or other activates that involves abrasive products.   

  Do I need Heat to remove Minx?
   Yes, using the heat will make the adhesive easier to remove once the seal has been broken. For this you can use warm water or a hair dryer.

   Be sure that it's hot enough before peel it off. Don't remove it from the cuticle to the free edge, but from side to side (it really makes a difference).

If Minx is applied and removed with heat can I go into a hot tub wearing Minx?
   Yes, when applied correctly Minx has a waterproof seal that will not release until the seal is broken by lifting the edge with a finger nail or object such as an orange stick.

  How long does it take to have Minx applied?
  To have your Minx applied will take the same amount of time you would need to have your nails polished. (Including a base coat, two coats of colour and a top coat).

  How long does it take to dry?
  Go ahead and immediately dig in your purse for your keys or slip on your shoes. Minx requires no drying time. When you are finished you can leave immediately. Because Minx is a dry coating there is no smudging.
